St Helen's Eco-Church Bronze Award

St Helen's church has completed the first stage of the Eco-Church journey with a well deserved Bronze award.
Most of the award has been given for things that the Parochial Church Council has had in place for many years, including green power supplies, a graveyard managed for wildlife, a water butt and regular services that celebrate creation.
There is a long, long list of things that we need to have a mind to in order to move towards the Silver award. We will be looking to initiate more things and look again at our environmental footprint both as a church and as individuals in our lives.
We are proud to be part of this movement that witnesses to the world our passion as Christians to be part of the solution and to care deeply and sacrificially for Gods creation.
