Gardening
Thank you to Mike and the gardeners for all their hard work in the garden
which contributed to the attractiveness of the Church grounds for the festival.
Flower Festival Weekend
Thank you to Gabby, Sue and all the flower arrangers for the beautiful displays of
flowers in the Church over the Bank Holiday weekend. The flower festival was its usual success and
your hard work was very much appreciated by all who visited it. As a result £400.00
was donated to Church funds for which we are very grateful.
Mothers' Union
Thank you to the members of the Mothers' Union and WI who contributed to the refreshments
and lunches in the Church hall on Bank Holiday Monday for the village street fayre. The raffle
raised £85.00, the refreshments £175.00. Many thanks to all of you who contributed in any way.
May Day Street Fayre
Thank you to everyone who baked/gave bottles for or supported the St Helen's stall at the May Street
Fayre in Seaview on Bank Holiday Monday. The cake stall raised £186.70, bottle tombola £243.00, plants £74.85, and
our sewing group stall £167.00. After all necessary deductions that's a grand total of £648.85! THANK
YOU SO MUCH. We couldn't have done it without your support. Our next event is at St Helens Village
Fair on 28th June when, I'm afraid, more cakes and bottles will be needed! Many grateful thanks. Rose
