St Helen's Church Repairs
Urgent and necessary repairs to St Helen's Church and the perimeter wall have recently been undertaken at a cost of £5,500.00. If you feel you would like to donate to the cost of this the treasurer will be very happy to receive contributions. We are most grateful to the donors who have already responded raising over £1,000.00.

Cashiers
If there is anyone who would be willing to help count and bank the money collected at the Sunday services please have a word with Sue.

St Helen's Flower Festival
This raised £1,565.63 for the fabric fund. Thank you to all who helped in any way to achieve this fantastic amount.

St Peter's Flower Festival
The Mothers' Union would like to thank all those who helped with and supported the refreshments and lunches served on May Day in the St Peter's Church Hall. £351.46 was raised for MU projects at home and abroad. Our thanks go to Gaby and Sue, and all the flower ladies who did such a splendid job organising the Flower Festival. It was a splendid event which raised £479.24 towards church funds and really showed the church off at its best. Lots of positive comments were heard from the visitors including "I think it is the best ever!" A very big thank you to all those concerned.

Bereavement Support Group
This group will meet in St Peter's Hall on Friday 13th May at 2.00pm. This is a cafe space for everyone who has experienced loss or bereavement or is lonely.

Traidcraft
It is now three years since Sylvia became a Traidcraft agent for the church and in that time she has regularly supplied tea, coffee, biscuits, toilet rolls and cleaning materials for both churches. However the amount of waste due to mice and products going out of date is making this increasingly unviable. Sylvia is reluctant to cease this work and she will have limited stocks available at all events in the future. Items can still be ordered from the catalogue and she will still hold events at her home. She will continue to hold stocks of cards and biscuits at Church. Please speak to Sylvia. Many thanks for your ongoing support.

Confirmation
The service of Confirmation will take place in September. If there is any one who would like to be confirmed please speak to Rob.
