Mothers' Union Prayers
We celebrate today the faithfulness of God to Mothers’ Union through 140 years, and the faithful witness of our members, past and present. We determine to continue to trust in God for all that lies ahead for us in the future.

Creative Writing at Carisbrook Priory
Come along and join Lynn New for a relaxed Creative Writing Session. Tuesday 20th September 10.00am - 1.00pm at Carisbrook Priory.

Bible Study / House Group
The next meeting will be on Monday 19th September at Sylvia's. Attendance can be occasional or regular to suit you. Everyone is welcome.

The Way....
Are you interested in deeper spiritual awareness and our own relationship with prayer? This Diocese Course is being held as seven fortnightly modules. The next meeting is on Tuesday 20th September from 7.00pm - 9.30pm at Holy Trinity Church Ventnor. Cost pro rata of £30.00 for the entire course, or as singularly booked sessions £5.00 each. Informally and sensitively led; no prior knowledge needed, just contact Lynn New for more information.

St Peter's Church Coffee Morning
It is with regret that the coffee morning scheduled for 24th September has to be postponed. It will now take place on Saturday 22nd October.

St Helen's Church Harvest Festival
Saturday 24th September in the church, 6.00pm Fish & Chips supper, tickets at £5.50 each from Paul & Mary Jackson and Caroline Pugh. The supper will be followed by a concert given by Vectis Brass Band at 7.15pm. No ticket for the concert, but there will be a retiring collection.

St Peter's Church Harvest Festival
Sunday 2nd October, 10.00am Harvest Festival Eucharist, when the preacher will be from Christian Aid. Harvest Lunch 12.00noon for 12.30pm. Tickets available from The Bookworm or Molly. This will be followed by a presentation by Christian Aid.

Ride & Stride
Thank you very much to Gill, Jill and Liz, Sally & Annie, Ros & Tom, Sylvia & Astrid for their participation in this event last Saturday. What a fine representation it was with a total of 36 church visits made by us. Thank you to, for all those who sponsored us. Half of the money raised goes to the Historical Churches Trust and the other half to the church represented.
