Time will be from 11.30am - 1.00pm. A light lunch of soup and a roll will be included. Everyone is welcome but it would be helpful to know numbers before the day for catering purposes. Mothers' Union
A reminder to all MU members that our Diocesan President, Elizabeth Groves, will be visiting the branch this coming Tuesday March 7th. We will meet in the Lady Chapel at 10.00am for a time of prayer and sharing together. This is part of Elizabeth's pilgrimage to all the MU branches in the diocese.
Corporate Communion will take place on Thursday March 9th at 10.00am. This will be followed by the committee meeting.

Bishop's Lent Appeal.
From the Bishop's letter :- "This year's Lent Appeal is called 'From Slavery to Freedom'. Our Christian faith celebrates the dignity of every human person; made in the image of God our creator, and constantly challenges lack of respect and honour wherever it occurs. Alongside the focus on international trafficking, we will also support local charities that are preventing and responding to the mistreatment of women and girls." Baskets are available at the back of the churches if you wish to donate, also envelopes if you would like us to reclaim the tax through the Gift Aid scheme.
