Creator God, we remember today your pattern of work and leisure as you rested from your labours on the seventh day of creation. We pray for ourselves and all who seek to maintain a healthy work-life balance, that we will be able to follow your perfect example.

St Helens & Seaview Church Choir
If you are a singer and would like to find out more about joining the Church choir please feel free to speak with Alan after a service at St Helen's, or send him a message via our contact page. Commitment is Sundays 10.00am, alternating weekly at each church, choir practice Friday evenings 6.30pm - 8.00pm, weddings as requested.

Bottles needed!
To raise funds for St Helen’s Church, Rose Gillett and John Kerslake will be holding a bottle tombola stall at Seaview May Fair on Monday, 1st May. Donations of full (in date) bottles of any description would be gratefully appreciated. Also cakes to sell on the stall. Thank you in anticipation!!!!!

Bible Study/House Group
After the break for Easter we will not meet again until 10.30am on Monday 8th May. Sylvia looks forward to seeing you.

St Peter's Flower Festival
April 29th - May 1st. The theme this year is Chelsea-by-Sea and as always promises to be an excellent week-end.
Additional features this year include an open evening preview on Friday 28th from 6.00pm. Admission £5.00 to include a glass of wine.
The church will be open from 10.00am - 4.00pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday - admission £1.00. Teas, coffees and home-made cakes will be available in the Lady Chapel at £2.00, and home-made cakes and marmalade on sale. The weekend will include a Songs of Praise at 6.00pm on Sunday 30th April.

Seaview Street Fayre
Monday 1st May when the Mothers' Union will be serving refreshments in the church hall. From 10.00am coffee and cake at £2.00, and then jacket potato lunches from 12noon - 2.00pm at £5.00. During this time the flower festival will also be open from 10.00am-4.00pm, admission £1.00. There are still gaps on the stewarding rota if anyone has a spare hour.

URGENTLY WANTED
Empty jam jars preferably with lids. Contact Sylvia who is happy to collect.

Christian Healing Mission
Encountering the God who loves to heal

Saturday 6th May 1.00pm - 5.00pm St Peter's Hall, Letting Jesus Heal - a presentation and workshop for all those interested in drawing themselves or others closer to Jesus to receive His healing through prayer.

Sunday 7th May 10.00am St Peter's Church, Eucharist - Preacher Revd John Ryeland on THE GOD WHO LOVES TO HEAL and 4.00pm St Helen's Church, SERVICE OF HEALING - for ourselves, for others and for our world.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
