Mothers' Union Prayers
We pray today for God’s blessing on Mothers’ Union in DR Congo as they continue with the Awaken process, building literacy and numeracy skills and mobilising community initiatives. May they know God’s protection upon them in the midst of unstable conditions.

Bible Study / House Group
The group will resume at Sylvia's on 9th April. We will revert to looking at the lectionary for the following week. Everyone is welcome to attend on a regular or occasional basis.

Priest-in-Charge
The licensing of the Revd Alison Morley will take place on Sunday 15th April at 4.00pm. The venue is St Mary the Virgin, Brading. All are very welcome to this service.There will be a reception after the service in the church hall.
Please note that on Tuesday 17th April there will be short installing services of Revd Alison Morley at Yaverland, St Helen’s and St Peter’s Seaview, when it is hoped that the congregations of these churches will attend. Times have yet to be announced.

Bottle Stall
To raise much needed funds for St Helen’s Church, Rose Gillett & John Kerslake will be holding a bottle tombola stall at the Seaview May Fayre on Monday 7th May. Donations of full and in date bottles of any description would be gratefully appreciated.

APCMs
The Annual Parochial Church Meetings will take place on the following dates.
St Helen’s on Sunday 8th April after the morning service at 11.30am.
St Peter’s 15th April after the morning service at 11.30am in St Peter’s Hall.

Church Warden
For the past few years, Sylvia has been working alone as Church Warden at St Peter’s Church. With the APCM fast approaching, is there anyone who would be willing to stand as Church Warden along side Sylvia especially now as we await a new Incumbent?
Nomination forms are available from John Cheverton. This is a very important position and should not be undertaken by just one person.

Seaview, St Helens & Brading Haven RNLI
The branch's AGM will take place on Thursday 12th April at 11.30am at the Northbank Hotel. Annual subscriptions will be due on that day. This will be followed by the Spring Lunch 12.30pm for 1.00pm. Tickets available from Bookworm, Pier Road at £12.50. Menu, roast lamb, roast potatoes and spring vegetables, followed by one of Mary’s special puddings and coffee.

Church Flowers
Thank you to all our flower ladies who made our churches look so beautiful for Easter Sunday.
