Seaview Summer Fete
This year's summer fete will be held on Seaview football clubs ground on Thursday 16th August at 2.00pm.
Urgently Required: Good quality bric-a-brac [no electricals]; books, pictures, plants, produce &
lots of man/woman power. All offers of help to Sylvia.
Paul Roseman Concert
19th August Paul Roseman is an international concert organist and will be giving a concert at Holy Trinity Ventnor
at 2.30pm. There will be a cream tea and a chance to meet Paul after the concert
Pet Service
19th August at 10.00am in St Peter's Church, Seaview.
All welcome no matter how many legs. Join us to celebrate family, friends and fellowship.
Tea, coffee, water and yummy treats [pert and human] after.
St Helens Sports & Carnival
Monday 27th August Sports start at 1.15pm. Carnival set up from 5.30pm. Carnival moves off 6.30pm.
Volunteers needed, please contact Margraet Cope.
Ride & Stride
This year the date is 8th September. Support your local churches by walking, running, riding your bike
or even driving your car between our churches. Start at St Peter's Seaview, on to St Helens,
then to Brading and finish at Yaverland. Sponsor forms at the back of the churches.
All money raised will be split between Hampshire Historic Churches Trust and our own churches.
Wednesday 10.00am Communion at St Mary's
There will be no services on Wednesdays for the remainder of August.
They will resume on 5th September.
Bells at St Mary's Church
The bells will not be rung at St Mary's today as the ringers will be heling at the Chale Show.

This will take place at St Mary's Church on Saturday 18th August from 12.00noon until 3.00pm.
