Confirmation
If there is anyone who is thinking about being confirmed, classes will begin in the New Year. For those who were confirmed many years ago, this could be an opportunity for a refresher course. Please give your names to Alison [01983 565975] or contact her for further details.

Traidcraft
Sadly this will cease to trade at the end of December 2018. This is due to needing to compete with supermarkets etc who now stock Traidcraft goods. This may cause problems for some of the smaller farmers who will not be able to renew contracts with them or are not big enough to trade with the larger companies. As Traidcraft winds down they are aware of this and are asking for our prayers. HOWEVER For this last season Sylvia will be selling Christmas Cards and biscuits after the 10.00am services at St Peter’s, with coffee in the church hall. There will also be catalogues available if you would like to order anything from that. Any other details available from Sylvia.

St Peter’s Church Cleaners
We are looking for one or two people to help with church cleaning. If this is something you could help with, please have a word with Sylvia.

All Souls Service
This service, when we remember those of our loved ones who have died, will take place at St Helen’s Church on Sunday 4th November at 18.00. If you would like the names of relatives or friends read out at this service please put their names on the clip boards at the back of St Peter’s, St Helen’s and St Catherine’s chapel. If you are coming to the service, everyone is very welcome, please be advised to bring a torch as the path from the car park to the church is very dark.

St Peter’s Church Coffee Morning
This will be on Saturday 27th October in the church hall where coffee and tea will be served; home made cakes, books and Traidcraft will be on sale with the usual raffle and tombola. If anyone is free to help with this we would be very grateful as some of our regular helpers are not available this month. Please see Sylvia with any offers of help.

RNLI
Annual Trafalgar Lunch at the Northbank Hotel on Wednesday 31st October at 12.30 for 1.00pm. Tickets available from Bookworm, Pier Road, Seaview at £12.00 each.
