We are URGENTLY looking for one or two people to help with church cleaning. If this is something you could help with, please have a word with Sylvia.

Benefice Book Group
The book for the next few months is “God in all Things” by Gerard Hughes. We will meet in Seaview in the undercroft of St Peter’s Church on the second Monday in January and discuss the first 6 chapters and then on the first Monday in February to look at the rest. Ali has copies of the book, which she has bought at £2.50 each and if you would like one please contact her, also if you have any questions about this. It is a free and open discussion, no right answers, as we share our reactions and inspirations with each other.

Living the Questions
This group will meet on Monday January 28th, 7.00pm in the undercroft at St Peter’s. The same openness of discussion as the book group and some interesting video input….. No preparation required. Please let Ali know if you are coming, if you get the chance.

St Peter’s Coffee Morning
Thank to all who supported the coffee morning on 22nd Dec. The weather was on our side and £367.00 was raised for the fabric fund. Special thanks to the WI hand bell ringers and for the church choir for providing good entertainment. Traidcraft over the Christmas season raised over £200.00.

Textile Bank
You will have noticed the textile bank outside St Peter’s Church. This will accept shoes & textiles tied in plastic bags and will be emptied approximately once a fortnight, making a contribution to church funds. Hopefully this will be a useful facility in the village. Please make use of it and benefit the church at the same time.

APCM Reports
Yes, it’s that time of year again. If you are responsible for doing a report for your organisation, to go into the report booklet, the dead line is 28th February. Please email them to susanwhitewick(at)btinternet(dot)com.
