St Peter’s Church Garden
Due to the admission to hospital of our gardener there will be no formal gardening sessions for the next 6 weeks. If anyone could give a hand with weeding and watering during that time it would be greatly appreciated.

Frank Bull
The funeral of Frank Bull will be held on Wednesday 26th June at 2.00pm in St Peter’s Church. This will be followed by a cream tea in the Masonic Hall, Fairy Road, Seaview. The family warmly invite all to attend.

Living the Questions
The informal and challenging theology group watching this progressive study course meets on the third Monday of the month in St Peter’s undercroft at 7.00pm. [Next one 15th July] All are very welcome, contact Ali for more details

St Helens Fayre
URGENT appeal for bottles at the fayre on St Helens Green on 30th June. Anything from shampoo to champagne, vinegar to body lotion. Any in date items gratefully received by Rose.

FLOWER FESTIVAL

Celebrating 300 years of St Helen’s Church. Friday 21st June, Saturday 22nd June 10.00am - 4.00pm. Sunday 23rd June 12.00noon - 4.00pm. On Saturday evening beginning at 7.00pm there will be a concert in church given by the Scottish Fiddlers. There will be a raffle [prizes please] and refreshments. On Sunday Bishop Christopher will be presiding at the 10.00am Eucharist, which will include Confirmation. Help is needed in various ways, over the three days, so if you could offer assistance please contact Mary. Thank you.

Christian Aid
Christian Aid and many other organisations are gathering in London on 26th June for the “Time is now” rally to call the government to take seriously the multiple risks to the environment. Some from our Ecochurch movement are going and we would love for more people to join in. There is a coach for £12.00 leaving from Portsmouth and you can book your place here.

St Mary’s Prayer Group
This is open to all and is on the second Monday of the month at 7.00pm in the church hall

Sunday Brunch
After church on the 4th Sunday of the month, there will be a free Sunday Brunch for you to enjoy after the service. Please take this opportunity to mix and mingle.

St Mary’s Church Historical Tour
This will be at 2.00pm on Sunday 30th June and every 4th Sunday of the month with Fanny Oglander in aid of St Mary’s Friends.
