Mothers’ Union
Meets in the undercroft at 2.00pm on Tuesday 24th September. Sue Stark will be the guest speaker demonstrating braiding.

St Peter’s Harvest Lunch
Will be held in the undercroft on Sunday 6th October at 12.30pm. Admission will be by ticket only. Tickets available from Beth Dollery at £5.00 each. This will include a soft drink but please feel free to bring your own bottle if you prefer something stronger. There will be no corkage charge!!

Work party for St Peter’s Hall
On 12th October from 10.00am to rub down the walls and fill holes. On 19th October all hands to paint the walls. Please bring brushes and paint trays. Please do come and help with this. We will need lots of support and tea makers essential. Please contact Ali or Sylvia for more details.

Memorial Gardens
From the Lichgate to the entrance to St Helen’s Church, there are two small flower beds, one on either side of the path, which the PCC would like to make into memorial gardens. Speak to Sue [churchyard manager] or phone her on 01983 568761 for more details.
It is hoped the project will start in the Autumn.

Card Payment
At St Helen’s Church there is now the opportunity to make donations by card. Please speak to the sidesperson on duty.

The benefice book club will meet on Monday 7th October at 7.00pm in the undercroft at St Peter’s Seaview.

Brading Diary
6th Oct St Mary’s Harvest Festival followed by harvest brunch. All welcome.
14th Oct 7.00pm Prayer Group St Mary’s Church Hall

Brading Events

St Mary’s Prayer Group
This is open to all and is on the second Monday of the month at 7.00pm in the church hall. Next one 14th October.

Sunday Brunch
After church on the 4th Sunday of the month, next one on 22nd September, there will be a free Sunday Brunch for you to enjoy after the service. Please take this opportunity to mix and mingle.

Ride & Stride
Thank you to everyone who helped us with this event either striding of providing much need refreshments. If you would like to add sponsorship to those who walked there is a form at the back of both churches. All sponsorship monies to Sally Rivlin [St Helen’s] or Sylvia [St Peter’s]. Thank you.
