St Peter’s Coffee Morning
The November coffee morning raised £389.20. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this in any way. Our next coffee morning will be on December 21st 10.30am - 12.00noon. Christmas biscuits, cards and a selection of original paintings, suitable as gifts will be on sale, together with the usual books, tombola and raffle. We will be entertained by the hand bell ringers from the WI and share in the festive spirit together. Why not come and join us?

Sunday Lunch
Are you tired of cooking Sunday lunch for one? Why not join us in the undercroft for Sunday Lunch with good company on the third Sunday of the month at 12.30pm. The next one is on December 15th. Names to Sylvia please.

Revd Kath Abbott
Sadly for us all, Kath will be leaving the benefice at the end of December. She will be taking up the post of Priest-in-charge at St John the Baptist Wroxall. Kath’s last service will be on 29th December at St. Mary’s 9.30am. We wish her well as she takes up her new post. There will be farewell tea in the church hall at Brading on Saturday 21st December from 15.00 -17.00 for Kath. Everyone is very welcome to come.

The book for reading during December and January is “Walk Humbly” by world-renowned ethicist, theologian and preacher Samuel Wells This extended meditation offers eight exhortations on being alive in the world and making our way through life, and will be discussed at our next meeting on Monday 6th January 2020 in the undercroft.
