Mothers' Union Prayers
Jesus prayed for his disciples that ‘they may be one so that the world may believe’ [John 17.21] All over the world hearts are touched as Christians come together to pray for unity. Lord, today as we gather to worship, we proclaim our unity in Christ.
AMEN

Eco-Church Notes
A Community Garden is being created in Brading.
The herbs and vegetables that are grown by volunteers are free for everyone to harvest; to pick a handful of mange tout as you are passing, to gather a few plums for your pudding or pinch some herbs for your stew. In a world of bounded commodities a community garden offers a vision of generosity; of the gifts of Gods creation freely given, of the time of volunteers lovingly offered and of course beauty to refresh and learning skill in growing.
Working with the 'Grub Club' based at the Brading Community Partnership, the 'Modern Kitchen Garden' market gardeners and with volunteers from around the parish this garden outside the church hall has been designed using permaculture principles and a no dig method of cultivation.

Benefice Book Club
Please follow this link or a full list of books for the next few months and sign up at the link at the bottom of the blog for updates.
This month's book is “Walk Humbly” by Samuel Wells and will be discussed on the first Monday in March, so plenty of time for you to have a look at this. Our new meeting place is St Catherine's Chapel in St Helens.
