We pray for those who suffer the insecurity of poverty, homelessness or displacement. May we as Mothers’ Union members challenge injustice and campaign to make changes for the better in all our communities. Amen

News
Due to a visit from the Diocese in response to our Eco Church Gold Award we will be starting the Eco Church gathering at 2.30pm this month. Everyone is very welcome and it will be the usual format of worship, workshop and light supper.

The Pioneer Course aimed at those who would like to “think outside the box” when it comes to Mission in our communities is running in Newport’s Parish Centre. The next session is 29th January 7-9pm with three other sessions taking place in Apr. June, and Sept this year. Rev Ali will be going in the car for anyone who is interested to join her. Please give her a call.

There is a new gathering for Gardeners on a Friday morning from 10.30am at St Mary's new Community Garden. If we aren't in the garden we will be in the Old School drinking tea and chatting! Do join us.

Rev Samantha Martell Licensing Service will be at All Saints Ryde on Sunday 26th at 4.00pm. Everyone is welcome.

Benefice Eco Pilgrims walk, Thursday 20th February Leaving St Helen’s at 10.30am and a walk to Quarr Abbey via Holy Cross Church, Binstead.
Seeing our beautiful island with fresh eyes and from new paths.
