Other Notices

St Marys Prayer gathering is a gentle and informal group that meets to pray for people but it also has a monthly theme whereby people are invited to bring something to share, a poem, a prayer, a reading or thought. It is not compulsory but is always enlightening to hear from others. Drop in any month for peace and prayer.

Contemplative Prayer is following the pattern of Quaker style silent gathering for a while. Very peaceful and refreshing, why not give yourself a treat and come and try it.

The Saturday Coffee mornings in St Helens are looking to expand and change a little to attract new people. They are being renamed ‘Cafés’ and there will be the development of eco stalls, local stalls and the refill station. Watch this space and don,t forget to come along and refill your household and hair products at really good prices that save the planet too.

Benefice Eco Pilgrims walk Thursday 20th February
Leaving St Helens at 10.30am and a walk to Quarr Abby via Holy Cross in Binstead. 'Seeing our beautiful island with fresh eyes and from new paths.' Everyone welcome. Bring a pack lunch, contact Ali on 07500007437 for lifts and return pick ups.
