INTERCESSIONS
Worldwide Anglican Church: Pray for Archbishop Justin Welby and for Christians in other denominations and the work of the ecumenical movement.
This Diocese: Pray for Bishop Christopher; Archdeacon Peter; Area Dean Amanda; our benefice Vicars Alison & Barry; the parishes of All Saints, Ryde & St Michael, Swanmore
World: We pray for everyone in the world suffering, in whatever way, from the pandemic
Island: For all business owners and staff under threat, and for the many now seeking employment
Sick: David
Recently Died: Sheila Holmes
We pray for all who suffer as a result of natural disasters, acts of terrorism, violence or armed conflict; for our armed forces and their families, and all who work in the emergency services.
Thought for the Week
Christ, our Saviour, is born.
Eternal God breaks into human existence to transform and redeem it.
In the darkness of night, God’s majestic glory becomes a vulnerable newborn baby. Creator of all is entirely dependent on those he has created.
Such is the measure of infinite love

NB St Helen’s church is now closed for refurbishment for the foreseeable future. The services usually held there on the 2nd & 4th Sunday’s of the month will now be held at St Peter’s, Seaview. We extend a warm welcome to our usual worshippers and hope to see you there. All plate money at these services will go to St Helen’s Church funds.
The services previously advertised as being on Christmas Eve at 3.00pm outside St Mary's and at 4.00pm outside St Peter's have now been cancelled, as has the service on Sunday 27th December at 8.30am at St Peter’s.
Thank You
Rosemary Wood and her family would like to send their sincere thanks for the many messages of sympathy & cards which they received on the passing of Chris.
