We thank God today that he is our perfect Heavenly Father who defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among us, giving them food and clothing. Deuteronomy 10:18

Vicar's Day Off
With effect from Monday 14th June the Vicar will be taking Monday as her day off and Fridays will be study days. Any communications to Ali on Mondays and Fridays will be dealt with on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

St Helen’s Church
The first service to be held in the recently renovated St Helen’s Church will be on Sunday 27th June.

St Mary’s Market
The market is open every Wednesday and Saturday 10.30am - 3.30pm in St Mary’s church hall. Please come and have a browse, you might find just the thing you have been looking for.

The Benefice Book Group
With a view to being able to meet indoors towards the end of June, the book group is starting again. The book for the next meeting is “Stories we tell Ourselves” by Richard Holloway. Contact Ali for more details and the date of the meeting will be advertised here.

St Peter's Church Gardening
This happens every Tuesday from 9.30am. If you would like to help in any way please turn up, you would be most welcome.
Please bring your own tools.

St Helen’s Eco-Church Group
This group are, at the moment, meeting at 2.00pm every Thursday afternoon in St Helen’s churchyard to work on the proposed pond. If you would like to help, please just turn up, and bring your own tools.

History of Brading
Are you interested in the history of Brading? Have you been working on the archive project? Are you a poet, artist or writer who could help to bring the history of Brading alive? Are you someone who loves the church‘?
We are looking to sympathetically display some of the amazing work done on the archive and the stories of Brading’s history in and around the church. We would like for it to reflect the skills and artistry of local people and be accessible to families and visitors and so we need as many people as possible to have an input, from Historians, to young people, to small people.

Annual Parochial Church Meetings [APCMs]
The APCM for St Peter’s will be on Sunday 18th July at 10.00am following the 8.30am service.
The APCM for St Helen's will be on Sunday 25th July at 10.45am following on from the 09.30am service.
Both of these meetings are in the respective churches.

St Helen’s Churchyard
Everyone is very welcome to go into the churchyard, but PLEASE take your rubbish home with you. We are finding water bottles, drinks cans, crisp packets etc, just left where they fall. Someone has to pick them up and dispose of them off site, as there is no bin collection. Please help us keep this a place of tranquility and beauty.

St Helen’s Church Renovations
Although the building work has finished, there is still the painting and decorating to do. This is being done by a willing band of volunteers who would be very grateful of help. If you could spare a few hours, the work is being undertaken on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 10.00am and 4,00pm. Could you help? Please just come along bringing your own tools with you.
