Thought for the Week
Faith in Action

Faith in action is love - and love in action is service. Mother Theresa of Calcutta
Lord, today may I live out my faith through my loving service to others.

St Mary’s Market
The market is open every Wednesday and Saturday 10.30am - 3.30pm in St Mary’s church hall. Please come and have a browse, you might find just the thing you have been looking for.

The Benefice Book Group
With a view to being able to meet indoors soon, the book group is starting again. The book for the next meeting is “Stories we tell Ourselves” by Richard Holloway. Contact Ali for more details and the date of the meeting will be advertised here.

St Peter's Church Gardening
This happens every Tuesday from 9.30am. If you would like to help in any way please turn up, you would be most welcome.
Please bring your own tools.

Annual Parochial Church Meetings [APCMs]
The APCM for St Peter’s is on Sunday 18th July at 10.00am following the 8.30am service.
The APCM for St Helen's will be on Sunday 25th July at 10.45am following on from the 09.30am service.
Both of these meetings are in the respective churches.

St Helen’s Churchyard
Everyone is very welcome to go into the churchyard, but PLEASE take your rubbish home with you. We are finding water bottles, drinks cans, crisp packets etc, just left where they fall. Someone has to pick them up and dispose of them off site, as there is no bin collection. Please help us keep this a place of tranquillity and beauty, and respect for our loved ones buried there.

St Helen’s Church Renovations
Although the building work has finished, there is still the painting and decorating to do. This is being done by a willing band of volunteers who would be very grateful of help. If you could spare a few hours, the work is being undertaken on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 10.00am and 4,00pm. Could you help? Please just come along bringing your own tools with you. And thank vou in advance.

St Helen’s Church Flower Arrangers
Are looking for more people to arrange the flowers in the church. If you would like to know more please contact Margaret Cope on 874466. She would be pleased to hear from you.

Rubbish at St Peter’s
Just to remind everybody. . . ...Flowers and green waste should go in the BROWN bin: disposable cups, including those used in church on Sunday’s should go in the GREEN bin, all other rubbish in the BLACK bin. Thank you

Seaview Annual Fete
The date is confirmed as 14th August. We now need volunteers to help run the stalls. High quality goods for the white elephant, tombola prizes, promises of home made cakes, plants and produce. If you think you are able to help in any way please speak to Sylvia or phone 612600.
