Thought for the Week
Championing Gender Justice

God of righteousness, who made us all in your image, we pray for all to follow your example of treating women with equality and respect. We pray for the dawn of a better world where justice and peace may flourish.

Friends of St Helen's
This is now up and running. A bank account is now open and donations to this fund are very welcome. All money received will be put to the fabric and restoration of St Helen’s Church.

Fabric & Restoration at St Helen’s Church
There are still urgent repairs to be done following on from the recent quinquennial review, and after the recent refurbishment there is very little money left in reserve. Any donations would be gratefully received. It may seem that we are always asking for money, unfortunately that is right, but we need to preserve this wonderful building for ourselves and for future generations.

Special Delivery - Can vou help?
We plan to deliver the next issue of our magazine, “What’s on the Church & Community”, to every house in the benefice.
We want to make events planned for Christmas, including our services, as widely known as possible, and introduce magazine to people who don’t normally see it.
Can you help us with this special delivery?
Even doing your own street would be a terrific help.
Please email the editor, Andrew Bradstock at andrewbradstock(at)gmail(dot)com, or call him on 07503 200630, if you can volunteer.
THANK YOU
