Thought for the Week
Preparation and Expectation
Lord, as we prepare for the Christmas festivities with all its hustle and bustle, things to do and things to buy, help us not to forget to prepare our hearts for your coming amongst us once more.
Friends of St Helen's
This is now up and running.
A bank account is now open and donations to this fund are very welcome.
All money received will be put to the fabric and restoration of St Helen’s Church.
Fabric & Restoration at St Helen’s Church
There are still urgent repairs to be done following on from the recent quinquennial review, and after the recent refurbishment there is very little money left in reserve.
Any donations would be gratefully received.
It may seem that we are always asking for money, unfortunately that is right, but we need to preserve this wonderful building for ourselves and for future generations.
