Donations for the Ukraine

The Charity MAD-AID are collecting the following items for the refugees from the Ukraine and you can take your donation to Brading Methodist Church Porch 10.00am-12.00noon on 13th and 15th March to be collected and transported to those in need:
Bandages and plasters, blankets, duvets, pillow cases and sleeping bags
Flashlights, batteries, thermos flasks, hand warmers, disposable cups, plates, bowls, cutlery
Pacifiers, bottles, formula milk, baby jars and tubes, small toys, colouring books, crayons.
Clothes are NOT needed at this time.

2022 Christian Aid Walk Saturday 7th May

Leave Brading car park, next to St Mary's Church and walk towards Nunwell House, going up on to Brading Downs, through Bloodstone and Eagle Head Copse leading to the Downs road, crossing over to pass the ice cream van (we can stop for those that would like to purchase), crossing the road to the path leading down past Little Jane’s Cottage, return to St Mary's Church for light refreshments (free of charge. There will be collection boxes if you'd like to donate.

Celebration Parade
Meet 3.30pm at St Mary's Church Hall.
Join the procession to Lower Furlongs where we will tell the story of Palm Sunday, Drawing of Palms Drawing of Donkey
and afterwards for a short celebration at Brading Methodist Church.
Do meet us at 3.45pm at top of Lower Furlongs if not possible to walk.
