Thank you to everyone who supported the Lent at St Peter’s, which raised £1000 to be split between the repair of the church hall windows and a stand pipe to provide clean water in Rita’s village in Liberia.

Thank you to all who helped at St Mary's jumble sale, which raised £356 for church funds.

There are Food Bank collection boxes in St Mary’s and St Peter’s Churches and the Community Fridge food waste Project at St Helens Community Centre. If you are in need of food or other essential items please see Sylvia or Rev Bevaly.

Come and sing Choral Evensong at St George's Church, Arreton, on St George's Day, Tuesday 23rd April. The Service is at 7.00pm with a Practice at 6pm. All are welcome. The Magnificat, Nunc Dimittis and Psalm 23 will be sung to simple chants and the Anthem is, 'All in the April Evening' by Hugh Robertson. There is a Quiz Night at St Mary’s Brading on Friday 26th April, starting at 7.00pm. £5 includes refreshments and there will be a raffle. Come as a team or on your own. This is organised by Brading Methodist church and is raising money for the Footprints Zambia Charity supporting street children.

Everyone is warmly invited to St Helen's Church next Sunday, 28th April, when Bishop Jonathan will be presiding and preaching at the Benefice Sung Eucharist. The service begins at 10.00am, and will be followed by a buffet lunch at around 12.00 noon. Between the service and lunch, Bishop Jonathan will lead a walk of the Labyrinth in the churchyard, with anyone who would like to join him. There will be a retiring collection for the Bishop’s discretionary fund. Unless we have a lot of rain between now and then, please use the 'Bucks Camp Field' opposite the Lychgate for parking - go directly there rather than to the church car park. A volunteer attendant will direct you to a space. Do come along if you can. Offers of finger buffet food for the lunch are needed. Please let Sylvia know what you are able to bring. Thanks

If you can help with marshalling for Walk the Wight please contact Rev Vickie Morgan, Vickie(dot)Morgan(at)mountbatten(dot)org(dot)uk.
