Mothers' Union Prayers
Father God, you gave us the Sabbath as a day devoted to you and an opportunity to find rest
from the busyness of our week. Help us today to take the time to dwell in you so that we may
be refreshed and nourished by your love.

St Peter's Church Porch
The summer fete is fast approaching and I am grateful to those people sorting out and donating items to this event.
However, due to the current refurbishment of the undercroft we have no storage space at the church itself.
We do have arrangements for storing donated items, but please could I ask that you contact me before leaving items in the church porch. Collection can be arranged. Many thanks, Sylvia.
St Peter's Church Fete August 18th
We are now in countdown to our annual church fete which will be held on Thursday 18th August on the Seaview Football Clubs field and we need YOUR help.
Are you able to help in any way at all - running a stall, manning a stall, collecting goods beforehand.
We are still in need of lots of volunteers. Make sure you don't miss out on this fun afternoon. Contact Sylvia.
The Mothers' Union will be responsible for the tombola at the fete. We would be very grateful to receive donations of suitable items for this.
These should be put in the box in St Peter's Church porch. Many thanks in anticipation of your generous giving.
Raffle tickets are now available and we would like to sell as many as possible before the day.
Sylvia will be giving books out for you to sell to neighbours and family who may not be going to the fete but would be happy to contribute in this way.
Urgently Needed - donations of sweets - in packets, or wrapped lollipops for the St Helen's tombola. Please contact Diana Hetherington.
