Today is the last day to donate to the Bishop’s Lent Appeal: The charities supported are Tearfund, USPG and Vista. If you would like to donate please add money in a marked envelope to the collection in church or online at www.portsmouth.anglican.org/lentappeal.
Do stay for our APCM TODAY, 13th April, in St Peter’s at 12.30pm to hear about our work over the past year and to elect churchwardens and PCC members.
St Peter’s Lent Lunches continue in The Undercroft on Wednesday 16th April from 12.00noon – 2.00pm. All are welcome to come along for a light lunch (homemade soup and bread) and a chat (free but donations are welcome).

St Peter’s Flower Festival is on 9.00am - 4.00pm from Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th May. If you would like to volunteer as a steward please sign up on the list in the porch or see Sue Love or Sally Rivlin. Thank you
Revd Karen and Sue Whitewick will be leading a training session for all Chalice Servers, both experienced and new, on Friday 16th May at 10.00am at St Peter’s church.
The winners of the March 8 Bell Club draw are : No.68, Lynn Attwood, No.57, Mike Marlow, No.38, Lola Elton-Walters. On Sunday 4th May there is a 'Spring Garden Opening' in aid of both St Lawrence and Brading Bell Restoration Appeals, at Woolverton Farm House, St Lawrence PO38 1XG from 2.00pm - 5.00pm . Tickets on the gate Adults £5, Children under 12 FREE, Dogs on leads welcome. Please see posters for more info.
On Sunday 11th May Starting at 2.00pm there is a Cream Tea at St Mary's Church hall. Deliveries available for those unable to get to the hall, Adults £5 under 16s £3. in aid of the bell restoration appeal.
St John’s, Yaverland have their APCM on Sunday 27th April at 12:30pm.
