More Tea with the Vicars! You are warmly invited to come along for tea (or coffee!) a chat, and of course, cake with Revd Karen and Revd Bevaly on Saturday 28th June from 9.30am -11.30am in St Mary’s Church hall, Brading.

Do please stay for the BBQ and a chat in the church garden after St Peter’s, Seaview Patronal Festival this Sunday (29th June).

You are warmly invited to the next Coffee Morning in St Mary’s Church Hall from 10.00am on Saturday July 12th with The Brading Community Choir providing entertainment, stalls, homemade cakes, chat, Farmer Ralph and a raffle.

Hymns and Pimms. Saturday 19th July at 3.00pm: Choose your favourite hymn to be sung at St John the Baptist Church in Yaverland. Voting envelopes will be in each church until 1st July. After we have raised our voices in song we will gather on the lawn for Pimms and nibbles. Non alcoholic drinks will be available. All welcome to come along and sing and socialise. Parking available in the neighbouring farm.

County Press tokens for Schools: Do please collect the tokens from your County Press and take them along to your local primary school. Rev Bev is happy to collect them for Brading Primary School (there is a tub at the back of church).

The Brading bellringers are holding a Teddy Bear Parachute jump from the Church tower and a Zip wire in Church on Sunday 20th July starting at 2.00pm. More details to follow.

Intercessions Preparation Session led by Revd Karen. Saturday 20th September at 10.00am at The Vicarage: Intercessions are a vital part of many church services, offering an opportunity to bring the needs of the world, the church and individuals before God in prayer. For those tasked with leading these prayers, crafting meaningful and relevant intercessions can be both a privilege and a challenge. This session aims to equip intercession leaders with the tools and inspiration to write their own prayers. Refreshments provided.

Please note that donations for the Seaview Mothers’ Union tombola stall (summer fete) cannot be left in the porch of St Peter’s Church in Seaview. Donations can be left at the home of Sylvia Beardsmore (as per the article in ‘What’s On’ magazine). The MU article incorrectly stated the drop off point for donations as the church porch. Thank you.
