A reminder of dates:
- Thursday 18th September at 6.00pm in St Mary’s church hall: Joint benefice PCC meeting
- Saturday 20th September at 10.00am at The Vicarage: Intercessions Preparation Session for those who lead intercessions.
- Saturday September 20th at 2.00pm in St Helen’s Church: A session for all who currently read, or are interested in reading, during services.
- Wednesday 24th September at 2.00pm in St Catherine’s Chapel: Ministry Team/CW meeting to finalize Advent and Christmas Worship Rota.

There will once again be an Art Exhibition in St John’s Church, Yaverland on Saturday 20th September from 10.00am to 3.00pm. Do come and take a look at work from talented local artists. Tea / Coffee and cake will also be available for £3 with all proceeds going towards the disabled access and toilets.

You are invited to join our Harvest lunch at St Peter’s on Sunday 21st September at 12.30pm. £10 payable at the door. Good old harvest food and apple crumble! Bring your own wine!

On Saturday 27th September Vectis Brass are in concert at St Mary's starting at 7.30pm, refreshments and raffle during the interval and retiring collection in aid of Bell Restoration Appeal.

The September issue of our parish magazine 'What's On' is now out, and copies are at the back of church, price 60p. For a subscription please contact Paul or Mary Jackson on 872326 to get set up.

Harvest Festival is almost upon us. Do make a note in your diaries! We will be collecting dried/tinned foods and toiletries (with suitable ‘use by’ dates) to donate to the Food Banks so please bring these with you on the day. Donations for flowers to decorate the churches would also be welcome - see your church warden or ‘flowers person’.

Now that St Helen’s and St Peter’s are having alternate Sunday Services a joint choir is looking to be formed. If anyone would like to join the choir, who will sing during services at each church, please contact Suki Turner Suki(dot)turner(at)icloud(dot)com or Rev Karen.
