The PCC of St John’s church in Yaverland is seeking new members of the PCC, including a Secretary and Treasurer. Please contact Revd Karen or Kev Norton if you would like more information.
The Friends of St Helen’s Church are seeking a new Trustee to join them. The Trustees raise funds for St Helen’s Church. They focus on raising funds for capital works, such as the roof repairs. If you feel that you are able to consider this position please contact Revd Karen.

Revd Bevaly is looking for donations of small boxed Easter Eggs of around £1.50 in value for the Messy Church Egg Hunt on Easter Saturday in Beachgrove park.
If you would like to donate towards the Easter flowers to decorate St Mary’s Church this Easter please leave your donation in a marked envelope in the collection or see Jan or Vanessa. You can also have flowers in memory of a loved one if you like.
Palm Sunday in Brading: We will begin our service at 10.00am (noting that the clocks have sprung forward 1 hour!) outside Brading Methodist church. We will walk (following Gary the donkey) up the High Street to St Mary’s waving our Palms and singing as we go. We will then be joined by those unable or unwilling to walk that far at St Mary’s where a joint Eucharist will take place. If you can help ‘ferry’ people in cars up to St Mary’s before the service please see Revd Bevaly, and if you can donate some large palm like leaves to wave that would be great.
Copies of our parish magazine, 'What's On', are now available for March, price 60p, from the back of each church. If you don't have a subscription, do consider taking one out (by contacting Paul and Mary Jackson on 01983 872326)- it's only £6.00 for the next eleven issues, and if you live in the benefice, your copy will be delivered to your door each month. And you might want to act fast! Due to a rise in printing costs, the cover price may have to increase from 60p soon, but that won't affect subscriptions already taken out for this year.
