St Helen’s Church are looking for volunteers to make and serve coffee after church. Four people would mean only once in two months, so please help us to continue doing this. We are also looking for more volunteers to lock and unlock the church. This would be on a weekly basis, and again, the more people we have, the less you have to do it (ie four would mean once a month.) Please offer your services to Rev Karen 07591 240640, or Sue Whitewick 01983 568761. Thank you in anticipation.
The Church Hall at St Peter’s has been undergoing a renovation, led by Wayne and needs a coat of paint to finish stage two. We are looking for a party of volunteers who could help us to paint the walls! All equipment and refreshments will be provided. The dates set aside are 18th - 20th July and many hands make light work! If you, would be willing to come along and help with the painting we would be very grateful. If painting isn’t your ’thing’ but you can make tea/coffee that would also be wonderful. Please do let Rev Karen know if you can help.
St Helen’s Church are holding a Coffee Morning on August 15th (NB change of date) from 10.00am until 12.00noon in St Helens Community Centre.
