St Helen’s Church are looking for volunteers to make and serve coffee after church and volunteers to lock and unlock the church. The more people we have, the less you have to do it. Please offer your services to Rev Karen 07591 240640, or Sue Whitewick 01983 568761. Thank you in anticipation.

St Mary’s are also looking for regular volunteer’s to make tea and coffee after the service as Lynne prepares for her Reader training and Marilyn prepares to move house and to take the food items to the Foodbank in the Town Hall (Monday- Thursday 9.00am - 12.00noon). Please see Nigel if you can help.

St Helen’s Church are holding a Coffee Morning on August 15th from 10.00am until 12.00noon in St Helens Community Centre. Homemade cakes, tea and coffee will be served and there will be a Raffle, cake stall and book stall. If you would like a stall to sell your homemade crafts please do let them know.

There will be an Organ Recital in St Mary's Church, by Edward Tait on Thursday 20th August, commencing at 7.00pm. Programme: Purcell- Lillibulero, Elgar- Vesper Voluntary No1, Edward Tait- Improvisation, Elgar- Vesper Voluntary No 2, Edward Tait- Vectis Tableau No 1 (WP). Free, with a retiring collection.

Due to the Organ Recital (above) St Mary's bell ringers' Thursday’s practice will be held on Friday 21st August from 7.30pm. Unfortunately there will be no bells on Sunday 30th for the Benefice Service.

Many thanks to everyone who supported the Coffee Morning at St Mary’s, including the Brading Community Choir, we raised £482.73 for The Daisy Bus.

Our next Benefice Service is on Sunday 30th August at St Mary’s Brading starting at 10.00am. All are welcome.

Morning Prayer at St Mary’s is taking a ‘Summer break’ so there will be no service on Wed 5th August. You are very welcome to join us on any other Wednesday at 10.00am in the De Aula Chapel though!
