Do join us for Sung Evensong at St John’s Church this evening at 5.30pm. Beautiful music and worship for a Summer’s evening.

There will be an Organ Recital in St Mary's Church, by Edward Tait on Thursday 20th August, commencing at 7.00pm. Programme: Purcell- Lillibulero, Elgar- Vesper Voluntary No1, Edward Tait- Improvisation, Elgar- Vesper Voluntary No 2, Edward Tait- Vectis Tableau No 1 (WP). Free, with a retiring collection.

Due to the Organ Recital (above) St Mary's bell ringers' Thursday’s practice will be held on Friday 21st August from 7.30pm. Unfortunately there will be no bells on Sunday 30th for the Benefice Service.

Join us at St Peter’s Church, Seaview for our Regatta Service next Sunday, 23rd August, at 10.00am for a wonderful service of worship, community and celebration of the sea as Regatta week comes to a close.

Our next Benefice Service is on Sunday 30th August at St Mary’s Brading starting at 10.00am. All are welcome as all of the churches in our benefice come together to worship and celebrate and share in the Baptism of Nigel’s grandchild.

The next Jumble Sale at St Mary’s Church is on Saturday 12th September. Jumble can be dropped off at the hall from 11.00am and the Sale Starts at 2pm. There will be refreshments and cakes and a raffle, and Farmer Ralph will be there too. All help greatly appreciated.

The Diocese is running a new 10 session course for Lay Leadersin the Autumn. Do see Rev Karen if you are feeling called to this ministry in any way.

All of our churches rely on their volunteers and to lighten the load more are always needed! If you can offer to help with making teas / Coffees, opening and locking churches, cleaning, reading the lesson, leading intercessions or social and fundraising events do see Rev Karen or your churchwarden for more information.
