Revd Karen and Sue Whitewick will be leading a training session for all Chalice Servers, both experienced and new, on Friday 16th May at 10.00am at St Peter’s church.
St Mary's Quiz night Friday 16th May at 7.00pm in the church hall with questions set by June. Book your table with Nigel. £6.00 per person to include refreshments. There will also be a raffle. All monies raised going towards the clock repair.
St Mary’s then have the second of their Plant Sales on Saturday 17th May from 10.00am in the church hall. There will once again be refreshments, cakes, stalls, Farmer Ralph and even more things plant related! Do come along.
Revs Karen and Bevaly are planning to lead a Confirmation Course in the near future (June – July) for those wanting to be confirmed. The IOW Confirmation service will be in October and we are hoping (and praying) it might be at St Mary’s, Brading. If you are interested in joining this group do please see Karen or Bevaly ASAP.
The rescheduled Annual Parochial Church Meetings are being held at St Peter’s on (this) Sunday 11th May at 12.30pm after the VE Day Service in the church.

St Mary’s, Brading are holding a Jumble Sale on Saturday 7th June, doors open 2.00pm. Jumble can be left from 11.00am. Refreshments and a raffle will also be available.
To the PCC, flower arrangers, stewards, washer uppers, those who ran stalls, set up/put away, organists, donors of bottles & books, suppliers of bunting, the Nettlestone & Seaview Community Partnership and all from our congregation who helped St Peter’s church & the Seaview community in so many ways this busy bank holiday weekend - plus those unintentionally omitted - THANK YOU. The annual May Fayre is always a lovely way to bring the community together to meet, chat, laugh and feel connected and we raised £494.55 plus £361.35 from the Flower Festival (including the preview) for church funds. Well done everyone.
Date for your diary: Don't miss St Peter’s, Seaview Patronal Festival on Sunday 29th June 2025 which is the feast of St Peter & St Paul. Chris (Wilson) will be hosting a BBQ in the church garden after the 10.00am Benefice Eucharist - to which all are invited and welcome!
