MOTHERS' UNION PRAYERS
" Wonder"As we approach the incarnation of God's Son
into the world we marvel that he chose to reveal his birth to
both poor and rich. Let us draw near to Jesus just as the
shepherds came with wonder and the wise men knelt in adoration.

Winter & Children's Church at St. Helen's
Though our tent has been a wonderful asset for our children in
the summer - we need a warm and less blustery place for them in
winter. So, we shall be adapting the gallery at St. Helen's to
form an 'upper room' for Children's Church to use. We would be
very grateful for donations of bean bags / scatter cushions or
carpeting to help furnish this area. Many thanks, Rob.
St Peter's Church Gardening
Thanks again to Mike and his team for tidying up the church
gardens and removing all the leaves. As a reward there will be
no gardening in January and we will meet on Thursday 5th Feb.
Christmas Cards
Thank you to all who delivered Christmas cards for the Churches
this year. We have been able to cover every home in the parish
which is fantastic. Many thanks to everyone. Sylvia
