Our Haven benefice is now in Interregnum and we pray for our churchwardens, reader and associate priest whom we rely upon to continue to serve our parishes whilst we pray for a new priest to be appointed.

A Fond Farewell St Peter’s Seaview was the venue for Reverend Alison’s final service in the Haven Benefice and was so well attended that we ran out of Orders of Service and an extra number of Pew Sheets! As the service came to a close, fond memories of ‘Ali’s’ arrival and her inspirational initiatives, including the Eco Church, were recalled as thanks were given for her service in our benefice. These memories were accompanied by some very appropriate gifts that are reminders of her time here. We wish her well for the future and will keep her in our prayers. Vacancy for a Minute Secretary Would you be willing to take the minutes at meetings of St Helens PCC? It's not an onerous job, but it is a very worthwhile one. Please contact Andrew Bradstock on 07503 200630 if you are interested. Thank you. Do you have a spare seat in your car when you come to Church ??? Sometimes as many as 4 taxis come to our churches each week. Not only is this expensive but also ecologically poor practice. The journeys are all local and if you think you could help please contact Sylvia on 01983 612600.
