What's On

Benefice Book Group Latest News

We were delighted that Rosie Deedes was able to talk about her book Into the Depths. The discussion covered many issues to do with her work as a chaplain in Holloway Prison and more recently at Mountbatten. We all found it interesting and inspiring. The next book for discussion is Black Sheep and Prodigals by Dave Tomlinson. The meeting is on Wednesday 28th September at 7.30pm in St Mary’s church hall. All are welcome. Looking Ahead

Sandown and Shanklin Military Band have confirmed they will be playing at St Mary's on Sunday 16th October at 3 pm.
Volunteers are needed to make cakes and/or serve teas and coffees at the end of the concert,

Vacancy for a Minute Secretary

Would you be willing to take the minutes at meetings of St Helens PCC? It's not an onerous job, but it is a very worthwhile one. Please contact Andrew Bradstock on 07503 200630 if you are interested.
Thank you.

Do you have a spare seat in your car when you come to Church ?

Sometimes as many as 4 taxis come to our churches each week. Not only is this expensive but also ecologically poor practice. The journeys are all local and if you think you could help please contact Sylvia on 01983 612600.

Deadline for items to be included in the Pew Sheets is 4 pm on Thursday to allow for compilation, printing and distribution.
