Food Bank Collection Venues

Giving up something for Lent? If you are foregoing chocolates, sweets or coffee, why not donate what you might have bought to a food bank.
(Even better if your gift is Fairtrade sourced as it will help their farmers and growers).

St Peter’s Church has sent 30 small Easter Eggs with the Easter Story as a gift to a Trussell Trust Food Bank who will deliver them to families. The Church has also purchased a quantity of eggs that will be used across the Benefice on Easter Sunday. We are inviting voluntary contributions (suggest £1 minimum) towards the cost of both of these initiatives by way of a basket at the back of the church or by bank transfer to St Peter's PCC reference Easter.

St Mary’s Church continues as a collection point for tinned foods, toiletries and other essentials for those in need of aid in these difficult times. Please place your donations at the back of the church.

St Peter's Church: Food bank baskets for non-perishable food are also situated at the back of the church, The Orange Tree in Madeira Road and Penforma on the corner of Bluett Avenue and Salterns all in Seaview.
