St Helen’s Eco-Church

ln a change to our usual routine, St Helen's Eco Church group will meet at Level Land Farm, at 3.30pm, on Sunday 23rd July. The address is Carter's Stables, Upton Cross, Ryde, PO33 4BP. A Prayer for all who sail upon the Seas

Dear Lord, we pray for the safety of all who sail upon your seas: for those who fish to bring us food, for those who work to bring their cargos safely to the shores, for those who carry passengers over oceans, for :hose who seek refuge rom distant wars and those serving in navies who seek to keep the peace and protect us from conflicts, those who sail for pleasure and those who man the life boats in times of peril. Amen

Brading Bellringers BBQ - Saturday 15th July

St John's Coffee and Cake Morning Saturday 15th July

Fancy a cup of tea or coffee accompanied by a slice of cake for £3? Yes? Then find your way to St John’s Church in Yaverland where at 10:30am there will be a table top sale and refreshments to raise funds for the church.

St Peter’s Coffee Morning Saturday 15th July

St Peter’s Church holds a coffee morning in the hall from 10.00am to 12.00 noon on the third Saturday of each month, with stalls, a tombola and a raffle. Everyone is made very welcome.

St Peter’s Newly Fitted Out Meeting Rooms

Need somewhere to hold meetings or children’s parties? Why not use St Peter’s Undercroft which provides an attractive space for meetings. It features a modern kitchen and sunny courtyard and benefits from level access from the street.

Alternatively there is an upper meeting room that has a newly refitted kitchen with an oven and double hob. It also has a separate toilet.

St Peter’s Family Services

Although August may seem a long way off, it will soon be here and St Peter’s are hoping to hold two family services on 13th and 27th. In order to do so safely we need a minimum of three volunteers for each service. If you would be willing to help with this please contact Sylvia on 01983 612600 and we will arrange a planning meeting.

St Peter’s Memorial Garden

We have planted three new roses in the church memorial garden: the varieties areAlexander, Mamma Mia, and Keep Smiling. And we have space for three more: if you would like one of these roses (or a new rose) dedicated to a loved one at a cost of £30, please let Sylvia know on 01983 612600.

St Peter’s Donations

You will be pleased to know that St Peter’s Seaview has entered the 21st century and are now able to take card payments. The machine is at the back of the church and we also have a QR code.

Supporting our local Food Banks

St Mary’s Church continues as a collection point for tinned foods, toiletries and other essentials for those in need of aid in these difficult times. Please place your donations at the back of the church.

St Peter's Church: Food bank baskets for non-perishable food are also situated at the back of the church, The Orange Tree in Madeira Road and Penforma on the corner of Bluett Avenue and Salterns all in Seaview.
