Food Bank collection boxes are situated at the back of St Mary’s and St Peter’s Churches. The Community Fridge food waste Project is in St Helen’s: visit the Community Centre and take what you can use to prevent food going in the bin (check out their Facebook page to see what’s available.
However, if you are in need of food or other essential items please see Sylvia or Rev Bevaly.

BRAG presents Gardening The Globe a talk by The Commonwealth War Graves Commission on Saturday 10th February at 2.00pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Brading. All are welcome. Refreshments provided in aid of St Mary’s.

Do please join us at Seaview for Homemade soup lunches on the six Wednesdays in Lent from Ash Wednesday 14th February 12.30pm-2.00pm. Served in the church Undercroft, with its level entrance from Steyne Road, this is also a warm space to enjoy a tasty lunch with others.

Ash Wednesday: Our Benefice service of Holy Communion with imposition of ashes is on Wednesday 14th February starting at 7.00pm in St Peter’s church, Seaview. If you need or can offer a lift please see your churchwarden who will coordinate this.

Our Benefice Lent Course will run on Thursday afternoons from 15th February (2.00pm – around 4.00pm) in St Mary’s Church Hall, Brading. We will be using the book ‘Christ and the Chocolaterie’ by Hilary Brand, which is celebrating its 21st birthday this year! This is based on the film ‘Chocolat’ starring Juliette Binoche, Dame Judy Dench and Johnny Depp which we will show on the first week. St Mary’s Church are holding a Quiz Night on Friday 16th February, 7.00pm in church hall. £6 per person. Bring your own nibbles. Please let Nigel (quayers(at)aol(dot)com) know if you are coming.

Brading Bell Ringers Pre-loved book sale is on Saturday 17th February 10.00am until 12.00noon in St Mary’s church hall.

The February issue of our parish magazine,'What's On' is out now, and copies are available for 60p in each of our churches. Mince pies for the Prisons: ‘Thank you so, so much for the mince pies you so generously gave to be enjoyed at the Carol Services we had here in the prison.
