Is there anyone out there willing to do a little baking once a month for our cake stall in the Community Centre? We need people to bake and someone to sell the cakes/pastries on the day, so helping to raise funds for St. Helen's Church. Anyone interested please contact Rose. With many thanks in anticipation. The next one will be on 14th November in the Community Centre.

These services are held at 6.00pm on the third Sunday of every month in St Catherine's Chapel. They are a service of hymns, readings and prayers and everyone is welcome to attend.

St Peter's Coffee Morning
Thank you to everyone who helped, and the people who came along. £300.90 was raised for Church funds. The sewing group raised £32.00 for St. Helen's Appeal fund. The next one will be on December 5th which is the Christmas Coffee morning.

Parish Giving Scheme
I hope many of you will have seen the article in the last two editions of the Parish Magazine. The Parish Giving Scheme was launched last week at St. Peter's, and this week will see the launch at St. Helen's. I will be at the back of the Church this Sunday to give all regular donors the packs, and there will also be spare packs for anyone who might like to donate in the future. Please consider what you give carefully, we need every penny we can get to keep St Helen's Church open and running. Sue

A Message from Sylvia
I would like to thank everyone for all the messages and good wishes I have received during my recent illness. I have been sustained & uplifted by all your prayers. I will be out of action for the rest of this week and away on retreat at the week-end. Hopefully I will be back in action from Monday 12th October. Thank you all. Sylvia.

All Souls Service
