Bottles Needed
To raise funds for St Helen's Church, Rose Gillett and John Kerslake will be holding a bottle tombola stall at the Seaview May Fayre on Monday 2nd May. Donations of in-date full bottles of any description would be gratefully appreciated. This is one of the main fundraising events for St Helen's Church - please give generously. Thanks in anticipation.

St Helen's Church Repairs
Urgent and necessary repairs to St Helen's Church and the perimeter wall have recently been undertaken at a cost of £5,500.00. If you feel you would like to donate to the cost of this the treasurer will be very happy to receive contributions. We are most grateful to the donors who have already responded, raising over £1,000.00.

Flower Festival
The St Peter's flower festival will be held over the week-end of April 30th, May 1st & 2nd. The Church will be open from 10.00am until 4.00pm and two stewards on a one or two hour basis will be required during this time. A list is in the porch for you to sign up your availability. Tea & coffee will be available throughout in the Church on Saturday & Sunday. On Bank Holiday Monday tea & coffee will be available in the Church Hall from 10.00am and lunches from 12.00noon in aid of the Mothers' Union.

Cashiers
If there is anyone who would be willing to help count and bank the money collected at the Sunday services please have a word with Sue.

Missing
Two white lace edged table clothes have gone missing from St Helen's Church. Also a white corporal [part of a set] which is used for laying up the Communion on the Altar. If anyone has taken them for washing please return as soon as possible.

Hilda Hoare
Hilda is now living in a care home on the mainland near her family. If anyone would like to write to her, Molly Cheverton would be happy to give you her address.

St Peter's Church Gardening
Despite the unreasonably cold weather and snow the church garden continues to look good. The next gardening session will be on Wednesday 4th May from 9.30am.

Bible Study
There will be no Bible Study/House Group on 2nd or 30th May due to the bank holidays.

Flower Festival
St Peter's Church will be especially beautiful this weekend for the flower festival. This will be on Saturday 30th April, 1st & 2nd May from 10.00am until 4.00pm. Admission is by donation [suggested £2.00] and tea and coffee will be served throughout.
On Monday 2nd May refreshments will be served in the church hall with proceeds going to M.U. projects in this country and overseas. Coffee will be served from 10.00am, jacket potato lunches from 12.00noon and teas until 4.00pm.

St Helen's Flower Festival
This raised £1,565.63 for the fabric fund. Thank you to all who helped, in any way, to achieve this fantastic amount.
