Archdeacon Peter Sutton
An announcement from Bishop Christopher.
Peter Sutton will be leaving the Island to take up a new post in the summer as parish priest of Greatham & Empshott with Hawkley & Priors Dean, Deanery of Petersfield. He has been a notable and loved pastor to congregations and clergy, led us into a united deanery and oversaw the development of the “Plan” which is freeing us for mission and service. A farewell service of thanksgiving for Peter’s ministry as archdeacon will be arranged for July.

Licensing Service
First of all many thanks to all of you who contributed to the success of the Licensing Service for Alison last Sunday afternoon. There were so many different roles and it was good to see both St Helen’s and St Peter’s churches so well represented. Now we can look forward to working with our new Priest-in-Charge.

Flower Festival
The annual St Peter’s Flower Festival will be taking place over the weekend of May 5th - 7th. As last year we will be serving tea and coffee with home-made cakes in the Lady Chapel from Friday - Sunday. We will need donations of homemade cakes and volunteers to act as stewards over the three days. Please sign the rota in the church porch.

Mothers’ Union
The next meeting will be on Tuesday 24th April at 2.00pm when Liz and Ena will be talking about summer planters. Everyone is welcome
