St Peter's Harvest Festival
Sunday 7th October St Peter’s Harvest Festival at 10.00am. This will be followed by Harvest Lunch at 12.30pm in St Peter’s Hall. There will be a talk by Hannah King from the Trussle Trust food bank after the lunch.
PLEASE NOTE While the harvest lunch is being prepared on this morning coffee after church will be in the undercroft. Entrance is in Steyne Road.

Forthcoming Event
The choir of St John’s Church Newport will be giving a concert in St Helen’s Church on Saturday October 13th at 7.00pm There will be a raffle, prizes please, and a retiring collection.

Ride & Stride
Thank you to everyone who took part in the event on Saturday 8th September, and also to those who contributed to the provision of refreshments. Please let Sylvia have your sponsorship money asap either in cash or cheque made payable to the Hampshire and the Islands Historic Churches Trust. This will then be collated and sent to Sally Rivlin to record and pass on for processing. Half of the sponsorship money will then be returned to the churches. The total amount raised will be published in due course.

Confirmation
If there is anyone who is thinking about being confirmed, classes will begin in the New Year. For those who were confirmed many years ago, this could be an opportunity for a refresher course. Please give your names to Alison [01983 565975] or contact her for further details.

Age Friendly Seaview to Ryde Amble
Saturday 6th October 10.00am - 12.00noon. Either start at the Old Fort, Seaview or Southern Water Carousel Ryde Seafront. Organised by Seaview and Nettlestone Community Partnership. You can walk there and back or just do part of the walk. Collect a goody bag and pick up a leaflet at the beginning to get some of the special offers from the cafes on route. Fun for all the family.

St Peter’s Coffee Morning
Thank you to all who supported the coffee morning on 22nd September. £208.34 was raised for church funds.

Mothers’ Union
Corporate Communion will take place in the Lady Chapel in St Peter’s Church at 10.00am on Thursday 11th October. This will be followed by the monthly committee meeting. The service is BCP and anyone is welcome to come along.

St Mary's Flower Fund
Please continue to give your donations to Mary, as they will continue to support the lovely dislays in church

Prayer Group
St Mary’s church prayer group meets on the first Monday of every month at 7.00pm in St Mary’s church hall.
