Benefice Dates

Benefice Book Group
This will meet at 7.00pm on the first Monday of every month in the undercroft at St Peter’s Chrch, Seaview and 10.45am in the church hall at Brading on the first Wednesday of every month. The book for reading in February is “Science and Spiritual Practices” by Rupert Sheldrake. If you would like Ali to source a second hand copy of this book for you at around £6.50 just ask her.

Living the Questions
This group will meet on Monday 18th February, 7.00pm in the undercroft at St Peter’s. The same openness of discussion as the book group and some interesting video input….. No preparation required. Please let Ali know if you are coming, if you get the chance.

Sip our Soups lunch will be held in the Undercroft at St Peter’s Hall [entrance in Steyne Road] on Wednesday 20th Feb at 12.00 noon. Tickets available at £5.00 each from The Bookworm, Pier Rd, Seaview. Selection of soups, crusty bread, cheese, fruit and coffee,

Brading Events

Beetle Drive
Brading Bell ringers are holding a beetle Drive in the Church Hall on Saturday 9th February at 6.30pm. All are welcome. The cost is £2.00 per person. There will also be a raffle & refreshments. In aid of the bell restoration fund.

Jumble Sale
St Mary’s Church will be having a jumble sale in Brading Town Hall on Saturday 23rd February at 2.00pm.

Brighton Youth Orchestra
Will be playing in St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 20th February at 7.00pm.

“Friends” Group
Saturday 16th February, meeting about forming a “Friends” group for St Mary’s Church. This will be held in the Church Hall at 4.00pm.

Sunday Brunch
On the 4th Sunday of the month, there will be a free Sunday Brunch for you to enjoy after the service. Please take this opportunity to mix and mingle.
