They will be lay-led without Holy Communion, although offering a service of Holy Communion whenever possible. St Catherine's Chapel is in St Helens Community Centre on Upper Green Road.

Our churches in Action

Rita, who worships with us in St Peter’s and St Helen’s, comes from a village in Liberia where there is an extreme climate - six months of rain followed by six months dry and dusty conditions. It is always extremely hot and they have no running water or sewers.
We are launching a project to help provide a standpipe, and items to be shipped out later in the year. You can help us with donations of light rainwear, umbrellas, and Bibles. For more information please see Rita or Liz Fletcher.

St Helen’s Concert starting 7.00pm on Friday 1st September

Set in the light and airy church of St Helen, Baroque specialists Quatrapuntal present Phantasia at 7.00pm, Friday 1st September with Emma-Marie Kabanova (Baroque Violin) and Chris Hirst (Theobro and Mandora) playing music from the 18th Century.
A concert that is not to be missed.

The doors of St Mary’s Church Hall will open at 2:00pm - please help us raise church funds by selling your unwanted items.

St Helen’s Churchyard Bat & Moth Survey on 4th September

Ryde and Stride on Saturday 9th September

St Mary’s Church

St Mary’s is a stop off point for this year’s event and we are seeking volunteers to be in the church to serve tea and coffee to walkers and riders who come here.

St Helen’s Church

Andrew and Helen Bradstock will lead a walk of around 10 miles around the benefice, in two loops of around 5 miles. We will start at 9.30 in St Helen's Car park with the second half starting at 1pm, also in St Helens car park. This is a fundraiser for the Historic Churches Trust and the Haven Benefice churches. Join us for as much or little of the walk as you wish.
If you would like to sponsor us, please do so here.

For both services we will need sides people, readers, intercessors, and people to help with the coffee. If you think you could help with any of these roles please let Sally Rivlin or Sylvia Beardsmore know.
