The Together in Prayer group meets on Zoom each Wednesday from 7.30pm to pray for the world, the church and each other.

Food Bank collection boxes are situated at the back of St Mary’s and St Peter’s Churches and the Community Fridge food waste Project is in St Helen’s Community Centre; just take what you can use to prevent food going in the bin (check out their Facebook page to see what’s available.
However, if you are in need of food or other essential items please see Sylvia or Rev Bevaly.

Do please join us at Seaview for a Homemade soup lunch on Wednesday 21st February 12.30pm-2.00pm. Served in the church Undercroft, with its level entrance from Steyne Road, this is also a warm space to enjoy a tasty lunch with others.

Our Benefice Lent Course continues on Thursday afternoons (22nd February) from 2.00pm – approx 4.00pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Brading. We are using the book ‘Christ and the Chocolaterie’ by Hilary Brand, which is celebrating its 21st birthday this year, based on the film ‘Chocolat’ starring Juliette Binoche, Dame Judy Dench and Johnny Depp. Just let Rev Bev (01983 407432 revbevrackett(at)gmail(dot)com). know if you'd like to come and haven't signed up yet.

St Mary’s Church, Brading are holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 16th March from 10:30am until 1.00pm. Please see Nigel or Aileen if you can help to make cakes or on the day. Everyone is welcome to come along.

The February issue of our parish magazine,'What's On' is out now, and copies are available for 60p in each of our churches. If you live in the benefice, why not take out a subscription for just £6.00, and receive every copy this year delivered to your door. Just give Paul & Mary a ring on 872326 to set one up.

Easter Flowers: to donate money towards flowers to decorate the churches for Easter please see your flower arranging lead or a church warden or leave a marked envelope in the collection. Thank you.

Mince pies for the Prisons: ‘Thank you so, so much for the mince pies you so generously gave to be enjoyed at the Carol Services we had here in the prison. The prisoners were very touched by your kindness and wish me to pass on their thanks too. God bless you for your kind hearts, compassion, and generosity.
