An important update on 23 March 2020

Strict new curbs on life in the UK to tackle the spread of coronavirus have just been announced.

From this evening everyone must stay at home except for shopping for basic necessities, daily exercise, any medical need and travelling to and from essential work.

Shops selling non-essential goods have been told to shut and gatherings in public of more than two people who do not live together are being prohibited.

Our churches are therefore closing completely for the time being.

However, the outside spaces of our churches, the graveyards and gardens will remain open and we will keep these tended for you to enjoy during your times of outside exercise.

There will be no weddings, blessings or baptisms, but funerals will continue although limited to just the close family.

Please see our page on Easter 2020 in the Haven Benefice for details of how we will continue to support the spiritual life of the parishes and watch out for postings on our Benefice Blog and The Haven Eco-Church Blog. If you would like to receive email notifications of new postings on The Haven Eco-Church Blog, please sign-up here.

Stay safe and well.

Call me on 07500007437 if you need help.

God Bless

Ali
