St Helen's & St Peter's Choir
We are looking for a new choir director. If you know of any one that might be interested in taking this on, please let Rob or John know. We would also welcome new members to the choir, especially altos, tenors and basses. It would be helpful if you could read music but not essential.

Bible Study
Thank you to all of you who have supported me over the past year and I hope you have found it beneficial. The group will resume meeting on MONDAYS at 10.30am from Monday 7th September. Initially we will be following the lectionary readings prior to the Sunday service. Each session stands alone and everyone is welcome to join us on a casual or regular basis. For further details contact Sylvia.

Mothers' Union
The Mother's Union will not be meeting in July or August. However they will be holding their usual tombola stall at the Church fete and donations of suitable items will be appreciated. A box is available in the porch at St Peter's for donations or can be given to Sylvia.

Mary Sumner Day
This will be celebrated at the Sunday Eucharist on 9th August at St Helen's Church. Everyone welcome to attend, especially members of the Mothers' Union who will be able to share in a buffet lunch afterwards.

RNLI
The Bembridge Lifeboat [subject to weather and operational requirements] will be coming to Seaview on Tuesday July 28th and plans to come alongside the SVYC at about 7.15pm. There will be an opportunity to go aboard the lifeboat and meet her crew. The evening is open to all and there will be a BBQ and refreshments available at the Old Fort Cafe on Seaview's Esplanade.

St Peter's Fete
The FUNTASTIC FETE is approaching rapidly now as August 20th is creeping up on us. Good quality items are urgently needed for the books and Wight Elephant stalls. Nearer the time we will need plants and cakes. Tickets for the grand draw will be available from this Sunday, in order to sell as many as possible in advance. Pitches for stalls will also be available at £15.00 or £7.50 for charities. For further details and any offers of help please contact Sylvia.
