St Peter's Flower Festival
The Mothers' Union would like to thank all those who helped with and supported the refreshments and lunches served on May Day in the St Peter's Church Hall. £351.46 was raised for MU projects at home and abroad. Our thanks go to Gaby and Sue, and all the flower ladies who did such a splendid job organising the Flower Festival last weekend. It was a splendid event which raised £479.24 towards church funds and really showed the church off at its best. Lots of positive comments were heard from the visitors including "I think it is the best ever!" A very big thank you to all those concerned.

Bereavement Support Group
This group will meet in St Peter's Hall on Friday 13th May at 2.00pm. This is a cafe space for everyone who has experienced loss or bereavement or is lonely.

Royal British Legion
A coffee morning in support of the RBL will be held in St Peter's Church Hall on Saturday 14th May from 10.00am until 12.00noon. Coffee, raffle, stall and refreshments will be available. Please come and support your local branch.

Traidcraft
It is now three years since Sylvia became a Traidcraft agent for the church and in that time she has regularly supplied tea, coffee, biscuits, toilet rolls and cleaning materials for both churches. However the amount of waste due to mice and products going out of date is making this increasingly unviable. Some items will still be available, and items can be ordered from the catalogue. Please speak to Sylvia.
